Seems as though international calls aren't available at all, which is
a bit strange.

They're well-named, it looks like their FAQs were written by some kid on
work experience at a call centre. Here's just a couple of gems:

Q: Can I change from pre-paid to non-prepaid and vice versa?
Yes! You can transfer from a CDMA network and keep your existing mobile
number. You will however require a Dodo SIM Card and a GSM Compatible
handset as our network is only GSM compatible.

Q: Can I use premium message services?
A: Yes you can use premium services with Dodo Pre-Paid.
(yet on the rates page it states: "Premium SMS, 1900 and international
calls not available!")

Q; Can I make international calls?
A: Yes, all Dodo Pre-Paid services are enabled with MMS & GPRS
capabilities by default. You can obtain MMS settings by contacting our
customer service department on 131-602

Yeah, I noticed that.  f.cking hopeless.

It doesn't actually tell you how much the starter kits are either (I
took a guess after seeing the $20 "splat" jpeg on the Rates page.)

The T&Cs are here (not that they clarify much at all):
http://www.dodo.com.au/terms-prepaidmobile.html

I found a page with a list of international rates for their prepaid
service (despite international calls not being available from prepaid
services):
http://www.dodo.com.au/retailproducts/prepaidmobile/fullrates.html

Also, is CALLBACK what Vodafone calls voicemail?  If so, that page
reckons diversions are 30 cents per 30 secs and 25 cent flagfall
(despite the Rates page saying it was free).  Or is CALLBACK some
other Vodafone service?

LOL, looks like most of the answers are right, but attached to the wrong
questions

Positively bizarre.

We'll see. The same claim was made about their
dialup net access too and they survived fine anyway.
