Hey guys,
Just wondering if Optus have outsourced to India, every time I call
lately I seem to end up with an Indian CSR on the other end. However,
they seem to be very helpful and the accent is actually capable of being
understood. Is it just that they are hiring Indians in Australia or are
they sending my call to Mumbai?

I've rang them up a few times lately setting up PTT and it only appears
to be after hours. They are much better than the 3 monkeys!

I did the same setting up PTT.
5 calls over 3 nights until I got through to the tech department and took 2
mins.

I would prefer to be using PTT on my primary 3 phone, but they are to
dumb to set up the service!
Unfortunately none of the service providers know how to market PTT so I
will be surprised if it will ever take of here in Australia which is a
bloody shame. Unless all networks offer it and interconnect like SMS it
will never really make an impact.

Why dont you ASK?

The call had nothing to do with where the CSR was located, there was
other more important business to be conducted. Funny that.
The accent seemed too good for a "genuine" Indian...
