Hi all,

I've had a quick scour of websites, forums, etc. and the only mention
of the latest software for the N6280 is v5.92 - anyone know if there's
anything later?

(I've had this version for months, and while it makes it "stable" - no
suddenly switching off - it's still a little buggy - for example,
when the phone is locked and you are listening to the radio, it shows
on screen the station you have programmed in position 1, no matter
which station you are listening to - picky I know...)

It's nearly out of warranty, and I'd like it to be as up-to-date as
possible.  And preferably unlocked (from the 3 network) - any news on
that yet?

Cheers,

Tim.

As per 6288, 6.10 for APAC region, for all carriers that sell/sold it;
Optus, Vodafone, 3, and generic.
3 held out for a while for further testing but they are all in sync now :)

And no, give up on your second question...although bear in mind that if you
do succeed in future, and then get the software upgraded, it will most
likely be returned to its carrier locked status.
