VOIP/Vista

My new computer has Vista Home premium and I've found that the audio
quality is not as good as it was with XP. I use Freshtel Firefly and
they've been very helpful but the problem persists so I think I'll
change providers. The Skype site makes no mention of Vista which
makes me wonder if there are general VOIP issues with Vista?
