Jan. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Telstra Corp., Australia's largest telephone company,
rejected a report Chief Executive Officer Sol Trujillo would leave the
company before the end of the year.
``That is a fairytale with no basis in fact,'' Andrew Maiden, spokesman for
the Melbourne-based company, said by telephone today. ``Sol came here to do
a job and he won't leave before it's done.''

I will commit then and put it on the record that I believe Sol Trujillo will
be gone within 12 months, sacked due to board appointment changes initiated
by the major shareholder (ie: The Federal Government through the
Commonwealth Future Fund trustees). ....and rightfully so too.

So, what are the spin doctors gonna say when Trujillo does leave at the end of
the year as is rumored? Are they gonna say that "yeah, his work here is
done..."?
And refuse to detail what that "work" was that was allegedly completed?
At least one thing is certain - that this thread will be here in 12mths time
ready to be regurgitated from Google should Sol say Sol 'ong to Telstra...

They wont need to, its always been obvious that that 'work' is to
pump as much money as possible out of telstra into his pockets.

And Maiden will be exposed as the pathological liar everyone knows he's always been.
