Hi Guys,

Anyone know if there is anyway of connecting to the internet from my laptop,
through my ipaq and using bluetooth, connect to the internet via my Nokia
3650.

FYI: My iPAQ alone can perfectly connect to the internet using my Nokia
3650, but I am trying to connect my laptop to the internet through GPRS, by
going through my iPAQ Pocket PC.

Thanks people.

The obvious question,

Why do you want to go trough your iPaq for the connection instead of
connecting the laptop directly via t68i? Because you want both the iPaq and
Laptop to be connected at the same time through the t68i?

Obvoius answer ?
Because laptop does not have Bluetooth and cable/IR are not an option
(either because lack of or that the phone will be less moveable)

Hi Guys,

Basically as Johan pointed out, the reason I am doing it is simply to save
me having to go out and by a Bluetooth USB device for ?59.00 for my laptop.
Why go out and buy one if there is an alternative way of doing it for free.
I am sure there will be a way but I just can't figure out how to do it. I,
myself, am a very experienced computer user and I build computers and
program software for them but this is beyond me lol.

Thanks

AJ

Sounds like an interesting project, but you can get hold of a BT USB dongle
for less than ?20 (MSI BToes on watford.co.uk ?16 plus ?2 p&p - I bought one
when they got so cheap), so is it worth it? I tried something similar, i.e.
using my Clie as a IR port so I could connect my non-BT, non-IR enabled
laptop to the internet via my 6310i, but never had any luck with that
either.

Good luck if you're still trying!

Hey Bro,

Thanks for your reply, I'm beginning to think it's not worth it now as I am
getting nowhere lol. I think I may end up just goin out buyin a dingle
dongle and not worry bout the expense.

I would still like to know if anyone finds a way of doing this guys just for
my information.

Thanks G,

Later
