I have an Ericsson HBH-30 headset paired with a Motorola V620. When I try to
place a call with voice dialing on the headset, it beeps 4 or 5 times and
then nothing. Does that mean I'm too far away from the phone?

And the other major problem stopping me from using it is when I do manage to
place a call, the other person hears me say hello just fine, but then
silence and the call ends. I did find a menu in the phone in 'Car Settings'
that says 'Power-off Delay'. That was set to 0 minutes while the other
options were 15, 30, 60 minutes and continuous. Do you think that setting
may have been the cause of the ended calls?

I have a bluetooth menu, a car settings menu and a headset menu - all
separate and it confuses me :)

Last question - do I have to 'turn off' the bluetooth link when I'm not
using the headset or can I leave it on all the time?

Thanks - I need help!  In more ways than one ;)
