Verizon sells the Motorola v710, but they disable the bluetooth capability
of transfering pictures and sounds using bluetooth from your phone to your
computer. They did this deliberately, hoping you will use their services
so they can bill you for it.

Is Verizon the only ones doing this? Does Cingular also kill the
capabilities on the Razor?

No, here at Germany T-Mobile has also blocked bluetooth functions except
for headset communication and modem access on some models.

Cingular allows full use of all BT capabilities.
