I wonder if you can help me.

My sister has a Samsung E530 mobile phone and she wants to connect this to
her PC using Bluetooth, so obviously she needs to get a Bluetooth adapter
for her PC.

I know that a common problem with Bluetooth is that one Bluetooth adapter
will connect to a phone and another adapter won't. I know there are
different parts of Bluetooth (i.e. stack & profile I think), but I am not
completely sure what they do.

My sister wants to get a Bluetooth adapter that will definitely connect her
PC to her Samsung E530 mobile phone.

Has anyone connected a Samsung E530 mobile phone to a PC using a Bluetooth
adapter?
What Bluetooth adapter do you use to connect the E530 to a PC?

What particular Bluetooth Stack and profile do I need to successfully
connect the Samsung E530 and PC using a Bluetooth adapter?

Do you have any other information that may be helpful in this situation?

I hope you can help.

I appreciate any help, information or recommendations given.

Thanks!

I have a Belkin BT adapter that connects properly with my motorola e815.
Perhaps what's more important is the installation process.  Whatever BT
adapter you get DO NOT plug it into the computer and let Windows XP install
MS drivers.  Install the drivers that come with the adapter first, then plug
it in and force the use of those drivers over the MS drivers.  That will
save you a lot of hassle.  I just finished getting both BT and a USB cable
to work with my phone and frankly the USB cable is the easier way to go -
probably cheaper, too.  I got my cable and software on Ebay.
