Multiple Bluetooth phones and headsets in close proximity?

Has anyone here had any experience with using multiple bluetooth phones and
headsets in close proximity? I've had a request to evaluate converting a
department over to bluetooth and am looking at VXi's BlueParrot B200 and
Plantronics' Voyager 510SL units. I'm interested in whether you've
experienced any problems with cross-talk, dropped connections, inability to
connect, shortened range, etc. Thanks!

Hi nospam,

I have had problems with my first BT Headset (SE HBH-60) when using it
in close proximity to my WLAN Router. It sometimes could not connect or
dropped the connection.
Now I'm using a Jabra BT800 Headset and I have never had any trouble
whatsoever with it.
The following Bluetooth Units are in use within 4-5 meters in my home
office:
Logitech DiNovo Desktop (Keyboard/Mouse) connected to my Mac Mini
HBH-60 connected to my Laptop (I only use it occasionally for Skype)
Jabra BT800 connected to my SE Z800
and of course the Z800 connected (for syncing) to my Laptop computer.

Especially with the new Bluetooth 2.0 standard, you should not have
problems with the connection. (It is designed to check for "bad"
(=noisy) channels and not try to connect over these at all)

The Plantronics Voyager system is the only product available today that
works in the way you need it too. I have seen many offices using 10's of
Plantronics Voyager systems in use in close proximity and there is
no noticeable interference or affect on range.

BTW - have you seen other devices failing under the same circumstances ?
Saying "only" seems fairly dangerous to me :)

PS:In principle BT1.2 headsets should all have +/- the same performance
regarding the "crosstalk"

PS:Non-existance of proof is not the proof of non-existence :)
