Got my T68i phone from orange direct on payg a week ago and just today i
bought the mca-20 camera attatchment for it.

I've taken a few pics and would like to see them on my laptop so i can see
the pics in good quality as they look sh.t on the phone's screen.

Now I don't really want to have to email them as it's on a slow Virgin.net
dial up service. I have a bluetooth dongle on my laptop made by d-link and
thought about transfering them via this.

I've gone into my pictures once i copied the pic from the camera memory to
phone and then sending them via bluetooth and it finds my laptop, then i
press yes and it says connecting error.

Is it actually possible to achieve what i'm trying to do?

Sorry for the long msg.

Yes, if you go to My Pictures, Select a Picture, push the options button
(just under the Yes button), select Send, you will see the options to send
via Bluetooth, Ir, MMS and email. Some of the options like BT may be greyed
out if you have BT turned Off.

Cheers

I've already said it does NOT work...

Im taking back the bluetooth dongle and getting infra red. Scuse my language
but this is f.cking rediculous.

It's possible that you have a bad dongle but I'd look more at the T68i. I
had terrible problems with Bluetooth when I first got my T68. I sent it back
to Sony Ericsson and they said it had to be replaced as it couldn't be
repaired. Since then I haven't had any problems with BT that I didn't create
for myself.

You did pair the phone and the PC before you attempted the transfer?

Yep, i've tried all of it!

I'm trying a Phone Manager that someone posted about now to see if that
works, if i have to i think i will send back the phone AND the dongle.

Ohhhh why oh why!

I just went back and tried to send a pic from the phone to the PC. When the
devices weren't paired I got a "Connection Error" message. Once I paired the
devices everything worked just fine.

Hmm - i had them paired right from the start though :(

I'll unpair them and then pair them again.

I have seen odd behaivor with BT in the pairing dept. Most of the time
things stay paired once you have created the trusted relationship.
But.....every now and then devices become "unpaired" for no reason that I
can determine.

Well, i've got it to send pics to the laptop, which im very pleased with :)

Now i just cant get it to work with jeyo remote or dial up to the net etc!
