Your BT device on the PC needs to support the Audio Gateway. This is usually
part of the BT drivers that come with the device. You will also need to
check the ipaq to see if it supports BT audio.

They both have audio gateways, i managed to get BTW, and it lets me open an
audio gateway between the 2 bt devices (computer & pda), now all the sound
from the pda plays through the pc!!! - but how do i tell the pda to stream
the microphone to the audio gateway?!

thanks

What did BTW do for you and where did you get it?

He's probably referring to BTW-CE. The iPaq H3870 and H3970 came with
Bluetooth 1.1 and the H5450 with 1.4... The software is now standard in all
new Bluetooth iPaqs.

For some time people were able to download a package with this software from
Billionton - of course not intended to update the HP products, but it
worked.Since then the company removed the files from public servers, but a
few copies are flying around apparently.

I know of problems reported, like battery drain and sometimes machines
lockups. But nothing major. In my case I just upgraded my iPaq to Windows
Mobile 2003 and the new Bluetooth stack has got it all.
