Hi,

it looks like my H4150 doesn't communicate stable with my T39. Sometime's
the H4150 can connect to the T39 (to set-up a GPRS connection)...sometimes
not. When the H4150 connects to the T39 you can see that they communicate
but the T39 doesn't dial in...who can help?

regards,

Nico

Does it dial sometimes or never?

What are you trying to dial? A connection to an ISP, connection to GPRS or a
phone number from the contacts?

Have you had a look in our Bluetooth Guides? The Windows Mobile 2003 section
has one for mobile connection to GPRS.

Make sure your location info is correct: open contacts, Options and enter
the correct area code (for your mobile number) and country.

On your connection make sure you don't select use Location or something like
this (don't have my PPC here now).

Check with your provider if you should use *99# or (*99***1# depending on
mobile phone - 1 can be any number that matches your mobile configuration).
Also, some may need to have a specific AP selected. The guides show the init
string for this.

Mauricio,

thanks for tour support. But all setting are good (I had a Jornada with CF
card but that one has broken). When I look at your screendumps it looks like
I have a different version of the blue tooth manager...

Nico

I'm running 1.4.1.06 and I see in your posts you're running .74

I have seen the same thing happen between my iPaq 2210 and T39m. The
2210 still has the buggy Widcomm stack 1.4.1 build 04 which seems
responsible for the strange behaviour.
The iPaq will try to dial-in two times and then give up by displaying an
error message.
In this situation I have to soft-reset the 2210 and all will work as
should.

There is already an updated bluetooth manager (build 58) available for
some device types and languages. Hopefully this one will fix the bugs
seen with the older version.

Gerd,

you have the same problem. But even after a soft-boot it doens't work.
I have widcomm 1.4.1 build 74
