Is there any bluetooth software that exists that will look at a Microsoft PC
(NT or Win 2000 etc) that will when the bluetooth device that is paired is
out of range will automatically lock pc and upon reconnection when dev back
in range unlock pc.  This would be useful at work where I need to lock my PC
when not at my desk to stop people using my account.

I know of one app that will sort of do this - float's mobile agent has the
option to do what you ask (but not everyone can get it to work properly). I
assume this means that the bt device has to be a mobile phone though so if
your device is something else it might not be what you;re looking for.
www.eflame.com/fma is where to find it.

HTH.

Glad you like it. It's useful for many things, I agree.

Does it cope with Ctrl-Alt-Del under a multi user OS?

slightly OT but I'm using a click to a link in the quick start with
"%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe user32.dll LockWorkStation" to lock my PC as
I leave. Of course unlock has to be done as usual.
