Hello,

I need my Nokia 3650 to be connected to my laptop through a Bluetooth
USB dongle that works fine with Nokia PC Suite, in order to use GPRS.
I was told by Nokia Support Center that such dongle has to comply with
SPP.

I found the above:
TDK Go Blue USB Bluetooth Adaptor (250M)
3Com Wireless Bluetooth USB Adaptor V2

I would prefer 3Com instead of TDK because it is connected directly to
the USB and not through a cable.

I would be greatfull if someone using any of the above (preferably
3Com) could share his experience in order to help me decide what to
choose.

Thank you in advance,

Kevan

Please don't go with 3COM. The TDK software and product is much better.

I have the TDK USB dongle and a Nokia 7650, it works fine. I have a friend
who did have a 3Com BT card in his laptop but has since got a TDK one
because the 3Com software is so bad. Basically unlike TDK and others who use
WIDCOMM drivers the 3Com stuff doesn't integrate properly with Windows. It
is more difficult to use and less functional. Go with the TDK or some other
WIDCOMM device.

Thank you Matt (and Fauricio before!). But still it is a disadvantage
all this piece of cable that comes with the TDK dongle.
Anyway thanks again...

I bought a Sitecom 500.
Very nice. You get the dongle, and seperate USB cable to extend it if it
won't work direct when hidden behind the PC.

Works with my 3650, my VAIO 366 laptop, my duron 1.3 PC, and my work PII
450.
