Hi,

I have a SE T630 and am thinking of getting a BT headset however I
just want to make 100% sure that it will work ok with my T630. The
headset I am thinking of getting is the HBH-65. It is a SE headset so
I would assume they are perfectly compatible but sadly I know this
isn't always the way it goes :(

So does anyone here have the T630 working with the HBH-65? If so any
problems?

Also are there any other [better] BT headsets available? The HBH-65
got a good review on mobileburn.com and I tend to trust them as they
have always been right in the past.

Does anyone have information regarding all this profile stuff I keep
reading about? I have read some headsets don't work with some phones
because the headset uses "handsfree" and the phone uses "headset"
profiles so they can't work properly. Sounds like a moron designed
that, why not just have 1 headset audio profile in the BT spec and
leave it like that? Any info on that would be great.

Cheers all :D

Sadly I can't confirm this combination will certainly work but I would be
very surprised if it failed!  I have a SE HBH-65 and so far it has paired
seamlessly with a T68i, a Z600 and, most recently, a Moto V525.  It of
course works best with the Sony Ericsson models but is acceptable with the
Motorola.  Th eonly problem I have had with the HBH-65v is that it fails
to recognise a change of handset (I use two, one in use and one charging)
requiring me to re-bond eacj time I change handset.  A little annoying and
sort of flies in the face of the "Pairing" concept!  However, I have not
found the answer to this problem yet.  Perhaps someone in here can help?

That's my half Pence worth :))

Cheers,

James.
