Hi,

Does anyone know if the HID profile is configurable? What defines the
actions that are set if a button on the bluetooth device is pressed? The
driver? The device itself?

Example: Is ist possible to say "left mouse click" should not be
emulated as a mouse click but as "close program" or "run a certain
program" or something like that.

I cannot try it out because I want to know that before buying a
bluetooth mouse.

You do this on the Mouse Control panel on your computer - either Preferences
on a Mac or Control Panel | Mouse on a Windows based computer.

The HID profile is not configurable in itself, but the device is treated by
the OS via standard API.
