Thanks for your response.
1. I'm tired of my 6100.
2. Phones are still definitely cheaper in the UK than in Israel (my 6100
costs here the equivalent of 310 GBP!).
3. I'm a gadget man and like new devices, in Israel before any phone can be
marketed it needs to go through a long process to get a license (for self
use, however you can bring any phone in), therefore there are a lot less
phones here than in the UK.
4. I don't need a brand new handset, I'm willing to give my 6100 as a trade
in (perfect condition besides for the panel and keypad, which can be
replaced at minimal price - unlocked).
Any more ideas?

Seen as the 6100 is slightly towards the more expensive end, £150-£250
without contract. It's unlikly that you'll find anything thats better at
the cheaper end.

Do you need a phone with a camera ? Good quality (2megapixel) digital
cameras are quite cheap now.

Could be, but they ain't at the 'cheaper end' of the market.

Are you happy with the Palm ? IMHO CE (Pocket Windows) PDAs don't do any
more than Palms do.
I'd say keep the 6100 and the Palm. And get yourself a digital camera if
you feel the need to.

Sounds like a way to earn a living.

For personal usage.
Illegal to resell, I know of one person who got caught and fined the
equivalent of 10,000 GBP.

I'm not tired of my 6100 yet, it does everything I need of a mobile. :-)

If you're tired of the 6100, then IMHO any phones at the lower end will be
even more boring.
How about a Nokia 6600 ? It's got more or less everything, camera, video,
PDA functions, Symbian, bluetooth. Although it's fairly expensive without
contract.

Aron,
Keeping this 'on topic' for the nokia newsgroup which I am replying via.
The latest Symbian OS phones, like the 7650 and 6600 give you some of the
basic PDA functionality in a phone together with the facility to load in
programs as Java applications for special stuff you might want to do. I've
just moved up from a 7650 to 6600 with the main bonus being it can use MMC
cards to expand memory and the bluetooth works better. Not a bad option if
you just want to carry one device, not two.
There are some good deals going on the 6600 in the UK, but only if you are
signing a one-year contract. Expect to pay about ?150 to have it on a
'pay-as-you-smile' card and then maybe ?20 for unlocking it to any network.
You can find some on e-bay, but it is up to you if you want to take your
chances there or not. Plenty of e-bay sellers are honest and do good deals -
but not all of them. Check out the feedback.
The cameras built in to the 7650 and 6600 work in 'VGA' resolution - 640 x
480 pixels. Okay and convenient for quick snaps which will print out at
postcard size, but not as good as a so-many-megapixel digital camera. Once
again, convenient to have all in one device if you travel a lot - and the
memory card on the 6600 allows you to store plenty of pictures.
I'm happy with mine, but still use a 6mp digital camera for 'proper photos'
and a handwritten dieary for keeping my life organised.
Kevin.
