I am looking for a DECT (wireless) phone to connect to my landline at home.

The number one feature I am looking for is capability to syncronize the
phone book with MS Outlook contacts. I have not seen any information on this
(perhaps I haven't looked hard enough)

Can anyone point me in a suitable direction?

Check out Siemens. I used to have S55, and XTND software had an option to
synchronize with Gigaset (Siemens DECT).
