I use the similar Cellsocket and have for a year and a half with no
real problems except sometimes have to re-set the unit.

Yup...it works amazingly well.  Caller ID (number + "Dock-N-Talk" as
name only, unless I have a name in the phonebook for a number, then I
see the name) and even voicemail notification (not sure if it sends
FSK, but it does send stutter tone) work.  :)

YMMV; I'm using a Motorola v60s with VZW and a SE T62u with Cingular,
and will be using it with a V710 with VZW whenever it gets here.
