Just picked up a Kyocera Slider phone and was wondering if anyone had any
experiences getting any of these items...

- Desktop charger
- Data cable

I haven't been able to find a Desktop charger for this phone so I'm going to
assume that nobody makes one. I'm considering just getting a wall charger
and cobbling something together for the time being. Suggestions?

I've seen several USB data cables for this phone, with a drivers CD. What
can I do with this item without extra software? Are there any software
packages (free or otherwise) that would be helpful?

Any tips or tricks to using this phone? I'd like to get my own
sounds/images/animations installed.

Any relaible online sources for cellphone parts? Anyplace to avoid?

Thanks!

I suppose you can go to the kyocera site.

I personally haven't seen one but I also have the Kyocera 5135 and the
features and use are very similar. You can add multiple numbers to each
contact and categorize them.
I would recommend as a tip to buy an extra battery and use that to keep one
handy as a spare.

Virgin phones.

  Try Bestbuy.    http://www.bestbuy.com/

Radio Shack might have something.  http://www.radioshack.com/
You didn't ask but they have a universal car charger.  One buys the
charger with the cord.  An adaptor plugs into the cord and the device.  It's
supposed to work with cell phones and other rechargeable items.  I think the
charger is $20 and the adaptors around $10 each.

You might also try Ebay, the online auction company.
