Circuit City is selling out our Bluetooth Headsets to make way for the new Verizon "Store within a Store" that they are launching in October. I expect that they will only be available for the next week or so... I was able to order one to be held for me at a Circuit City store in a neighboring town. Thanks for the heads-up. The headset is $49 with a $20 rebate. Yes, they do often come back with some bogus quibble, but it is almost always resolved by sending a copy of what I originally submitted. It seems like they hope I will just forget it and go away. When I don't, they almost always pay up. However, I did want to point out that the $29.99 price was *after rebate*. I know many people who now disregard the rebated price because (as you rightly point out) they have such bad luck actually getting rebates.
