I have been a Sprint customer for 2 years. My contract is ending soon
and I am wondering if I should change carriers or stick to Sprint. I
have narrowed it down to only two carriers working for me, that being
either Sprint (still) or Cingular. I live in Indiana. Looking at the
plans both offer, I am interested with sticking to Sprint as it's
cheaper and it better suits my needs..YET....

I am WORRIED about these new tricks all the carriers are doing in which
they make you sign up for 2 years and basically tell you that you can
get a cell phone for barely nothing. I'm more into signing up for a
year, but yet at the same time, the deals are better (night time min
starting time) with the 2 year contract agreements.

SO my QUESTION is...is it SAFE to sign up for a 2 year contract? I
don't know how much cell phone deals could be better, and if the deals
will be around OR how much this industy will change...but..I feel I
need to hurry..however I don't want to make rash decisions....
I would appreciate any comments!!!

TTBOMK even though your Sprint contract is ending you don't need to
stop using the service.  They will still bill you on a month-to-month
basis (or however you set it up.)  Your best bet is to keep a hold on
it until you see something you like.
