Alltell Launches EV-DO

I missed this on the traditional outlets yesterday, if it was carried,
but apparently Alltell is joining Verizon Wireless in offering EV-DO
wireless data services to its clients.

Interesting.

They offer unlimited access at $10 lower than the other big ED-DO provider
Verizon.

Earthlink is planning to offer EV-DV sometime later this year.

While EV-DO is only for data, EV-DV is for both data and voice.

Sorry for the typo - its EV-DO in the first line instead of ED-DO.
