I just bought the Verizon XV6800 recently and I have been very happy
with it. There is some add-on software you can get(SPB Shell) that
will let the touch screen do a lot of the things that the iPhone can
do. With a registry editor you can perform some hacks to the system
that do not require replacing the ROM.
Unlimited web via the cell network is just over $40/month or you can
pay airtime charges. It has bluetooth and wifi. Excel is much more
functional and viewable than on a Blackberry. In fact, my company
provides me with a Blackberry. I had used pocket PCs before the BB
and I was very disappointed when the BB arrived. My PDA had broken
prior to that so I waited for the BB. I couldn't justify the expense
of carrying a BB, cell phone and a PDA, but when it came time to
upgrade the cell, I went with the XV6800. I am back in heaven and
heaven is even better than before.
For info on what can be done with this phone, google xv6800 help.

My co-worker bought the Voyager and he cannot run Google Maps on his.
Google Maps with traffic loads quickly on the XV6800. If you are in
an area that has the traffic it can help you avoid the(major roads
only) traffic jams ahead.
