You've all been irradiated by a mad array of high powered microwave RF all
your lives....long before there were sellphones to pick on.

Bullshit.  I'm proof.  Ham since I was 11, operated other people's high
powered ham stations before that.  Years sitting in RF fields so powerful
at all kinds of broadcast, military and commercial transmitters flourescent
lights didn't require AC power to light up.

One of my old ham friends died from RF exposure a couple of years ago.  He
was a ham since he was a child, too.  He died at 98 from it.  I miss
him....  He was also our high powered Motorola 2-way FM radio dealer since
FM was put in cars.  Before that he was in broadcasting and worked for
years for United Airlines on high powered worldwide HF transmitters you see
in old movies...."Alameda calling China Clipper....Alamedia calling China
Clipper...Come in China Clipper!"  The company offices communicated with
the planes directly.

Nothing impresses a radio station visitor like handing them a lit 4 ft
flourescent tube not connected to anything....(c;  They don't know whether
to scream and run or what.  You get that same look from a deer just before
you cream him standing in the middle of the road on a dark night....

"Here, hold this for a minute for me while I adjust the transmitter.  I
need to watch it for maximum brightness, which means we're at peak power!"

If we're going to outlaw anything that radiates it needs to be DOCTOR'S CAT
SCANNERS!  Radiology, not tiny radios, are the danger, but you won't hear
about that because it's a fantastic cash cow!
