I have a Nokia 6340i and want to use it as a modem for wireless
internet, I've done this with Sprint with no problems and have the
data cables.  Any help on how to get this to work?

Actually fairly easy (at least with IR and I assume via cable is
similar).  Don't bother with any of the Nokia drivers - they aren't
needed -- just use generic modem drivers.  Turns out that under GSM at
least Wireless Internet (the $3.99 one) isn't required either unless
you're going to use the phones browser. Just use your ISP's normal phone
number.  This is CSD of course since the phone doesn't do GPRS--max TDMA
9600 GSM 14400 and actually a lot slower but okay for email.  And it's
pretty much limited to Cingular towers only--so far I haven't found any
roaming partners supporting it.
