You must have John Navas killfiled.

He told us all about it just yesterday or earlier today.  See, John
knows all, sees all.  If he says it, it must be true--by definition.

All hail, John Navas!

Due to my non disclosure agreement, I can't say for sure, but aren't you
Robert M.'s anal sex partner?

Do they allow you two conjigal visits in the loony house?

Didn't you get the memo?

I've been assigned to you.

Open up, big boy.

No, just a few children and trolls.  It's pretty easy to filter them out.
If it keeps up, complaints will be filed with all their news providers.

Oh, my!  John Navas has spoken!  He doesn't like something, so he's
going to <gasp!> REPORT PEOPLE.

Sounds like John never left first grade.

So tell us, John--what's your strategy here?  YOU don't like something,
therefore EVERYONE should agree with you?  Is that it?

No -- I just expect participants (including you) to respect the Charter.

Have you nothing constructive to contribute?

It remains on track.  Closing is expected early in 2005.

I'm not so sure.  While the merger is pending things have gotten better at
ATTWS (in this area at least), which now has free roaming on Cingular,
attractive promotions, rapid technology rollout (including both EDGE and
UMTS), and improved customer service.  I fear such things may deteriorate
after Cingular takes over; for example, Cingular subscribers don't have free
roaming on ATTWS (in this area at least), and much shorter Customer Service
hours.

John,

I am hoping that it will lead to better service in the Carolinas.

Right now ATTWS customers here can roan on the Cingular network but not
the other way round.  I am also hoping that it will bring some 800mhz
network in the mountains of NC to cingular where there is no 1900mhz
coverage.

This would be nice.

We do business with both companies.  We're actually hearing it's much sooner
than even the end of the year.  I would expect "positive" thinking from one
side or the other, but each side is independently echoing the same date
range-----which I will not post, but it isn't that far way.

I am hearing from contacts at Cingular that it is anticipated to be as early as
October 1st.

Haven't talked to anyone at AT&T for awhile!

Oh go on.  All that can possibly happen is that John Navas will say it
ain't so. :)
