TDMA replacement

In areas that went GSM/GAIT only, such as N. and S. Jersey in the last 6
months, what happened to al the TDMA phone they had in stock ?

What if I wanted to replace my TDMA phone with another new, lighter TDMA
one as they were selling 6 months ago, could I any longer do it ?

You might check with an agent (non corporate store) they may have some
to get rid of, but why stay TDMA? Just curious.
