This is my first SMS-capable phone, T637, and I'd like to know how you send a
message to one of those "short codes"?

Yes, I have two-messaging and all other features required. I can send just
fine to normal cell numbers, but the short codes have reported failures.

are you talking about these shortcodes? (t-mobiles codes)
#646# [#MIN#] <send> minutes used sent to your display
#686# [#NUM#] <send> your mobile number sent to your display
*686 [*NUM] <send> your number read back to you.
#225# [#BAL#] <send> your balance owed and last payment

Thanks, but I was actually having problems just sending to a short code. I
then tried to just text message, but got a "failed" message. It turns out the
doofus at the store turned texting off. One call to Cingular customer service
and everything's working fine now.
