Before the Cingular/ATT merger, did Cingular have its own towers in the New York City metro area? As far as I know, Cingular was an MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) and was using T-Mobiles towers. I'm not sure the exact demographics of the deal, but I would imagine it was the whole area.
