Has anyone in this group upgraded their Blackberry to the 7100g?  What
are your thoughts about it?  Is it worth the upgrade, and does the
smaller form factor cause you any problems?

Great Phone,  Great Reception, Great Screen, Took only one or two days to
get used to the modified keyboard, What more can I say?  I have had it for
about three weeks and love it.

We actually got one in the other day at our store...so i popped my si
in it (used w/ another Blackberry) and tried it out.  They did shav
about an inch off the width which is nice...and from what i hear, yo
get used to the new keypad layout...however i was displeased with it.
I would still prefer a full QWERTY.

I definitely do not agree about the reception.  I have found th
reception of the 7100 and the 7290 to be less than adequate...less tha
the 6280 i used to use.  It isn't BAD, but it definitely should b
better for this level of equipment.  My other gripe is the Menu...no
this is a double edged sword.  I liked the looks of the menu, it look
great...way better than previous versions, but with the processin
power of the 7100, its inadequate for the complex visual menu they hav
created.  It looks a lot nicer, but it does not respond nearly as fas
as Blackberry's that have the old school software.

All in all, i like it, but there are several things that would cause m
to definitely not purchase this.  I would say spend a little more an
get a PDA/smartphone rather than this blackberry.  Hope this helps
