V551 & USB

I have seen many references in this group to connecting a V551 to a computer
via USB cable. I can't see anywhere on the phone to plug it in nor can I
find any reference to a USB cable in the manual. Am I missing something?

It's only USB on one end. The other end is a large, flat connector
that plugs into the bottom of the phone. They usually come with the
Motorola Phone Tools software, but you can also buy them individually.
I suppose there are generic versions available on Ebay, but I use the
Motorola cable, which by the way, I did purchase on Ebay along with
the MPT software for less than $20.

It is USB on one side and a special adapter to fit the phone connection on
the other end.
