Is the RF (reception in fringe areas) noticably STRONGER/better with the
V551 as compared to my current/old V60?

Any and all opinions are welcome...

Thanks,

SFB

I moved from AT&T V60 (color PCS) to Cingular V551 (GSM) ... no improvement
or degradation in reception.

I had hoped for an improvement in my office (deep in concrete structure).
Outside reception is fine.

I have the V551 GSM.. with Cingular... Now there is a T-mobile Tower
right near us.. but depe sinde a concret, metal warehouse I get fine
reception..

I go from say 3bars-5bars  just one area under some steps seems to have
an issue, but I still can make a call with the 1 bar.(and get a call)

but move away I am back up to 4 bars on average.
