Any news on whether cingular will carry this phone, maybe it'll be like the
razr and start out expensive and go lower with time.

Considering that the 8800 (European equivalent) is not due to be
released in Europe for a few months yet (just got back from Amsterdam)
you'll likely have a wait yet.
