Your existing service level will continue after your current contract
espires - they'll just convert it to a month-to-month account. You're
always eligible for an upgrade regardless.

If/when you sign a new contract, you'll have to choose from the plans
offered at the time of signing.

Order is everything: you are eligible for an upgrade AND you want the
account in your own name.
Do the upgrade first; after you get the new phone and put it on your line,
then put the line under your name. You will get the most value, and keep
your phone number. dr
If you are young and without credit history; you may be asked to pay a
deposit. This isn't just about name change on the account, it is a change
of financial responsibilty and they will run a credit check on you, and a
deposit may be required, or not. FYI.

The other posters are correct. You could keep your same plan if yo
wish, Jer was incorrect. As long as you dont leave that plan you ca
keep it, once you leave it you wouldn't be able to go back. One othe
note, there will be a $36 charge to change the name on the account
