I have 4 phones on a family plan. Two of these are moving to whitehall, mt
where Cingular has no coverage. What penalties, if any, for dropping two
phones off the plan? Thanks

Assuming they are under contract $10/month for the remaining time on each
(it makes not difference that they are on the family plan).  Do the math
though it may be cheaper to keep them (especially if you're paying $10/month
for them).

if you only pay $10 a month for each additional line it is cheaper to
keep them and pay monthly instead of $150 each line to cancel.
