Coverage in Reno, Nevada?

Inquiring for a friend who just moved to Reno, NV 89509, 6056 Plumas St.
His Verizon phone does not work well there. Any suggestions for other
carriers?

Just my personal experience, but Sprint works GREAT in Reno, Virginia
city, Carson City, Tahoe, etc... IN the Casinos too.

SPCS also worked well at Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Northstar-at-Tahoe,
and Heavenly Valley, this past March.
Coverage was good southward from Reno through the Carson Valley, too,
but did not extend up through the pass to the Kirkwood Resort, as I recall.

Check out this website. Found it in another forum. It shows
At&t/Cingular with the best digital coverage with most cell sites.
At&t also is utilizing the 850 band.

I was in Reno recently and my Verizon phone worked just fine. Location was
approximately Kings Row at McCarren.

It's a large apartment complex. How is it going to hurt to mention an
address?
