I just got my new phone today (Audiovox SMT 5600).  I love this phone.
It's amazing what it can do!  I used to have a Sprint Samsung I550 and
liked it but it was bulky.  Also, I didn't like Sprint's overpriced
plans and lousy coverage.

One thing I've noticed is that when I plug the headset in, people have
a hard time hearing me.  (Ugh.)  Has anybody had this experience and if
so, do you know of a headset that works better than the one included
with the phone?

THanks!

If you are going to use a headset I recommend the Motorola HS850
Bluetooth.  Great clarity and battery life.  Also you can forget about
the wires.

I agree.  I just bought the headset and it's charging now.  My husband
has it and loves it.  Plus I can hear him really well when he uses it.
Only one more hour and it'll be finished charging!

So with the HS850, did you get it from Cingular or somewhere else?  I got
mine from Cingular and it only came with the headset and the Wall Charger.
Seems that others got other items in the package?

Also with my HS850 If I have my phone in my right hand/pocket and my headset
on my left ear I get lots of static. If I switch hands/pockets its fine.
Not sure if its the Phone or the Headset...

Thanks,
 Scott<-
