I have a question I'm not sure if anyone can answer.
I set up my MPX220 as a modem for internet connection when my ISP is down.
I've created a Dial Up Network connection. I have it set to dial *99# with
user name WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
My question is: will using this charge me a data connection charges? Even if
i'm not a Cingular customer?
Any help would be appreciated. thanks

If you aren't a cingular customer how do you expect to use it?
It would seem that it would be like using Cingular voicemail if you don't
have cingular service.
Most likely, you won't be able to connect. If you do somehow get a data
connection, you will probably get charged by your cellular phone company,
at whatever rates they charge.

That kinda sets a new standard for roaming, doesn't it?

If possible, the market for data services goes away.
Subscriber of Cingular, just use Tmobile for data. If a Tmobile customer,
use Cingular. As use spreads, both drop data.
