Cingular GSM in South Florida...when?

In late July, I was told by Cingular that their GSM service for Palm Beach
County would roll out on 9/1/03.
Now that it is early September, I am being told that the roll out is
12/14/03.
What is the truth? Anyone hear now the facts?

I was browsing a Cingular store here in Orlando and I over heard a clerk say
that they were delaying the GSM startup in SE Florida...so I imagine the
December date is probably correct.
