I'll be in Calgary, Alberta Canada in a few weeks on a short business trip.
I have the America's Choice Plan. We are based in Arizona.
I know all that will be roaming but I wonder what my chances may be that I
will receive 1) Voicemail 2) e-mail sent to me though the vtext.com service
or SMS messages..
Verizon gave me the impression it would be dicey at best...
Thanks,
B
I used my TDMA phone in Montreal with all features. everything worked fine.
$1 per minute!

What does Verizon have to do with it?
If you're TDMA you'll probably roam with Rogers/AT&T. If you're GSM
you'll probably roam on either Microcell or Rogers/AT&T.
Don't forget that cingular has two very different systems. Unless you
specify where your home system is or what kind of technology you're
using the answer can be different.
