A new cellphone battery came with a "free Cell Antenna" "retail price
$19.99" "As seen on TV".  It's a thin sheet with Stargate-like geometric
figure in copper on it.  It looks like something from a Cracker Jack
box and I presume it functions just as well.  Do I presume wrong?

It's worthless junk.  Just "As seen on TV" doesn't mean it's good or
legitimate!

It's absolutely worthless except as a scam.

On the other hand, there are some in this group that might want to wear that
on their gimme cap to ward off alien mind control.

One other side light.  It is actually worse than worthless junk because if
it obscures your barcode on the back of the phone and they can't read it
clearly you just voided your warranty also!

That occurred to me, but I didn't want THEM to know about it...
