Which do people think is the best between the Cooper Mini, Hummer H2,
Honda Accord, and BMW 325i?

Best phone Razr v3.     Best 'auto' Hummer H2.

Glad to be of assistance :)

To you.  But not necessarily to others, which probably was Mike's point.
Different needs and priorities will have different best products -- there is
no one best product any more than there is one best car.  For my needs the V3
RAZR isn't the best fit because of:
(a) no EGPRS(EDGE) data,
(b) uncomfortable [to me] form factor,
(c) no headset jack,
(d) no PoC,
(e) external display hard to read in daylight, and
(f) not worth [to me] the price premium.
For my needs and priorities the current best fit is the Motorola V551, but I
respect that other phones are better for those with different needs and
priorities.

The question of the OP was especially hard to answer because (a) he didn't
list his needs and priorities, and (b) his choices are so different.

Well, at least the RAZR V3 won't cost $150+ to fill up these days.

I never thought I'd see a day so soon where a Toyota Corolla could cost
$64 to fill up...

Depends what you're looking for for features.  Do you
just want a phone to talk on, does it need great RF?
Do you want to use it as an MP3 player or watch movies
on it, play games, etc?

V551 and if you can find it, V635. V635 has everything the V551 has plus
1.3mp camera and add'l memory with memory card.

The V551 has absolutely horrible RF, so if you live in
low signal areas, I'd avoid it.  Otherwise it's a nice phone.
We swapped my wife's for a RAZR because of the poor
coverage at our house.

The V551 actually has good RF performance.

John, you're the only one that reports that.  I know you know your
stuff but in this case my experience demonstrates otherwise (our
friends with Cingular and 551s get no signal at our house, so it's
not just one phone and people on Howard Forums report the same).

Anecdotal carping on Usenet and web forums isn't a good guide to quality
because more popular products (like the V551) can have a higher level of
carping than less popular products even if they are better.

I live in a fringe area, blocked from the last good bit of signal by a
small hill.  The V551 works much better than my Nokia 3360.  Those two are
different technologies, and I don't have another GSM to compare it to, but
the V551 works fine for me.  It is certainly not "horible".

My friend has V551 and he gets great reception. You might be in bad coverage
area or you might have a bad V551.

On the other hand, my home is in an area noted for poor RF with all
carriers.  I had bad reception with a TDMA Panasonic Duramax (which has had
exceptional reception elsewhere).  In order to switch to a national plan at
a reasonable rate, I got a V180, which gave me a little better reception at
home, but not much.  Later, I upgraded to a V551 -- a notable improvement
on home reception.  I have seen NG threads indicating that there was one
(possibly several) run(s) of V551s that was quite poor.  The concensus
seems to be that most (including mine) have very good reception.

I examined both the Treo 650 (integrated phone and pda) and the Razr V3
(phone) along with a Palm T3 (pda), and finally decided on getting the
V3 and the T3.  My reasoning?  Primarily form factor.  While the Treo
650 is a wonderful product, I decided I wanted my mobile devices to be
as small and light as possible.  Hearing a Treo 650 user mildly
complain about the weight was the point I finally made up my mind.

By the way, I LOVE the V3!
