I have media net unlimited, and the csr on the phone says I cannot add CSD to my account because they do not offer it anymore. Is this true? If consistency counts, yes. I called to say that my V551 with Mobile Phone Tools would not send a fax. After some mumblefoo, they said that feature wasn't offered any more. When I specifically mentioned CSD, they said it wasn't offered any more. Fax and CSD are different -- I have CSD here in San Francisco, but fax no longer works. The answer was faster when I specifically mentioned CSD... too fast, perhaps. Maybe I should try again, not mention fax, and just ask for CSD. I don't know if this change in optins varies by location. Frankly, I haven't missed it as GPRS works everywhere I've any GSM coverage ( and GSM's all I have or can get).
