Share a family plan with people in other states

Dear friends,

We five peoples in different states want to share a family plan, Is it
possible? and also can we have the phone numbers of our places?

Really? why is that? I think if I buy a family plan and then send my
friends cell phones they can use them and we will be sharing a family
plan.

Plz clarify my confusion for me.

They can all use the phones, however all phone numbers must be issued
from the same market.

do you mean that the phone numbers must be of  the same area code? I
cannot change it to the number of my state? thanks

Note necessarily the same area code, but they have to be the same
market.  For example, in Orlando, Florida, you have a 321 area code or a
407 area code.  Those can be mixed and matched.  But, if you dialed any
of the phones from the area the main account is issued, they must all be
local to each other.

Now, if you want to change the number to a number of your state, you
must change ALL lines on the account to numbers of your state.

If it is a national plan, the phones will work "nationally". The account
holder will get billed for the five phones usage. Cingular does not know
the state where the other phone users reside. I have a daughter in CA, a
son in WI, another in MN sharing my plan.

I believe tyhey will all have to have phone numbers fro the same calling
area.
