Anybody know how to set a Moto Razr to display a 24 hr clock?  I couldn't
find any way to do that...

I tried to download the manual from motorola.com, but it's a site
that's heavy on "flash" and not on utility.  It won't accept input
from mozilla browsers evidently.  Why the hell the stupid people that
design web pages think it's more important to make a flashy looking
web page than one that works with all browsers is incomprehensible.
Another reason to stick with Nokia I guess.

Did you look in the settings for the clock?  Or did you perhaps look
in an international setting if that's what's required?

Using Mozilla Firefox 1.0.7:
I easily navigated the Motorola website to the RAZR V3 page at

clicked "User Manual (2.2 MB)", and down it came.

Set an alarm, and change the AM/PM setting to 24-hour.  (Then cancel the
alarm.)

Ah, ha!  Thank you, John...  I guess a simple election under date/time was
considered too obscure...(:-o)!

Now, if only I could train the folks at Motorola to make the charging plug
on their Bluetooth headset the same as on their *&^%$#@! phone...<big sigh!>

The "alarm trick" didn't work.

Did that.  It seemed simple enough, but the display time is still in AM/PM.
Got any clarifications that might help?

Go to settings/initial setup/time and date and turn off auto update
then change your time and move over to the am/pm and change it to 24h.
It should show on the main screen as well.

That did it.  Thanks, "troyboy30".

Okay, just outta curiosity, how did you come upon that?  I found nothing in
either the paper or downloadable manual.  And until I turned off "Auto
update" I couldn't even see the 12/24 selection...

BTW; the time, even with Auto update on, was off by 12 hours...<big sigh!>

I probably found it when I disabled auto update on the time, no clue!
lol  I remember cutting off auto update was one of the 1st things
did, who knows.
