I am looking to buy a used Cincular GSM phone to replace my nearly worn out
T720. Current offerings that I am considering are the V180, V220, and the
V551. I could care less about camera and bluetooth features, just need a
rugged, reliable phone, as I am a heavy user. Would like to be able to just
move my SIM card over and keep running. Which of the three I have listed
would be the best pick? Thanks,

Have the v551 and the v3.  The v3 reception is far better than the v551.  I
would recommend the v3.  Either one will accept the T720's sim card.

The V180 and V220 are bargain phones with mediocre performance.

The V551 is an excellent high-end phone, with top performance (comparable to
the RAZR V3, notwithstanding the other earlier response to your question, as
well as other phones.)

Bullshit.

You've actually said as much yourself, and I've previously explained why your
unfortunate experience doesn't actually say anything about the V551.

And I've explained to you how full of bullshit you are, on many
different issues that you've brought up, yet you seem to think that you
are de facto the authority on anything you choose to speak on.

What?  No "Nonsense!"?  At least you don't deny it.  You do honestly
believe that you are de facto the authority on anything you choose to
speak on.

You remind me of my son that can read an article in a magazine,
newspaper, etc....and because there was once sentence about pussy in
it, that's all he remembers about the entire article.

V180 is not for you.

Nokia is a better choice overall.

If your not interested in all the bells and whistles the V180 is a
good workhorse.  I had it for a time and gave it to my daughter and
she's pleased with it.

<disclaimer----Everybody's performance will depend on where they use
it-:) >

Some here will say that it's a low end product but keep in mind that
not long ago, it was a top billing product.  These thing advance fast
now, doesn't mean the older models don't still perform well.

Say what?  With all due respect, the V180 has always been an entry-level
model.

If you want to show me a manufacture web page that would back that up,
I'd be more than glad to read it.
