I am having some problems with the 6340i in the Raleigh area. On
occasion, when I attempt to send messages, or make a call, I get
recorded messages from the AT&T isp. Why? No answer at the local
Cingular store. I assume this has to do with the GAIT function of the
phone. But, usually Cingular Extend appears on the screen, rather thatn
just Cingular. Not in this case, however.

Has anyone else had these problems?

AT&T has dumped this phone, but to my understanding this is a GAIT
problem which is being looked into in other posts.
