There have been a few reports of the 6200 crashing. Other than that as
Edge continues to spread out the 6200 is praised for getting good
reception. On the low end of the scale the Siemens S56 is said to get
even better reception. This phone is very small. If there is an AT&T
store near you the C56 and the 6200 are on display- near each other.
You can see the size difference. Both the 6200 and the S56 have speaker
phones.

Is there something better? That seems to depend on the opinion of the
users. Will there be better GSM/Edge related phones developed?
Absolutely. EDGE and WCDMA are currently viewed as champions of GSM.
